Please attend the meeting to get the latest news in regards to the Regional HOSA Conference tomorrow at UH-Hilo, college of pharmacy. During the meeting, we will go over the competition events such as: Medical laws, medical spelling, medical terminology and abbreviations, medical math, etc. Thank you for your participation!
Hilo High’s Christmas Extravaganza
Happy Holidays Viking Ohana!
Join us on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm for Hilo High’s Christmas Extravaganza with the theme of “Together for the Holidays” here at Hilo High
school.
Join us for a night of Christmas extravaganza With mini craft fair, Christmas corners decorations, Keiki Christmas Gifts, arts and crafts and fun entertainments. We hope to see you all for a night of holidays!
JV Baseball Tryouts
The JV Baseball Tryouts will be on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 3:30 PM at Wong Stadium. Prior to tryouts, ensure that you have an updated physical turned into our athletic trainers. Thank you!
College and Career Visitations
Hey Vikings! The College of Education at University of Hawaii at Manoa, will be visiting on December 7, 2022 at 12 PM during period 6. Please see Mrs. Frias in N-103 to sign up for this session and get a pass.
Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Aloha creative Vikings! The deadline for the Scholastic Art & Writing awards is approaching! Don't forget to submit your work by December 15th. If you have any questions or need assistance, see Ms. Z in room L-4.
Hilo High School Student Credit Union
Ho Ho Ho! Happy Holidays Vikings! The Hilo High School Student Credit Union will be hosting a Christmas Membership Drive on Monday, December 5, 2022, during the Hilo High Christmas Night, “Together for the Holidays” from 5 pm to 8 pm here at Hilo High School. Join and become a member of our student credit union. If you become a member that night, you can enter a giveaway for a chance to win $100 cash and some fun prizes!
To open an SCU account you will need the following:
Have $5 Cash to Deposit,
A Hilo High School Student ID or a different Government Issued ID, know your Social Security Number, Mother's Maiden Name, and Physical or Mailing Address.
The Student Credit Union branch located at the Learning Resource Center has many member benefits like withdrawing, depositing your money, and purchasing discounted movie tickets at school. Come and open an account at the Hilo High School Student Credit Union!

You keep hearing about A Seussified Christmas Carol... and maybe you're like... but what's the story about?
Ebenzer Scrooge is basically a cold-hearted, money loving but tight fisted grinch. They have no time or love for other people or their family. On Christmas Eve, they are visited by the Ghost of their old business partner who warns Scrooge that if they continue to live this way their afterlife will be one of misery and despair. So, Scrooge is to be visited by 3 Ghosts- the Ghost of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and the Future.
Will Scrooge's heart melt and grow? Come and see!

It's coming to that time of the year, JUNIOR PROM! Save the date, junior prom will be held on March 25th, 2023 at the Arc of Hilo. The theme of prom will be Enchanted forest. Your obligations must be paid prior to picking up a packet. Check outside room R13 Mr. Yamamoto's room starting Monday - Dec.5 if you are eligible to pick up a packet. Let's make this prom an enchanted one!

Mabuhay Vikings! Interested in learning more about the Filipino heritage? Join the Hilo High Filipino Club. We will be having an informational meeting on TODAY, December 2, 2022 at room B-44, Mrs. Camero’s room during lunch recess. The primary purpose of the Filipino Club is to bring Filipinos and non-filipinos together to learn more about the Philippine culture through dance, music, food, language, festivities, and more.
