Hilo High’s Christmas Extravaganza
Happy Holidays Viking Ohana!
Join us on TODAY, December 5, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm for Hilo High’s Christmas Extravaganza with the theme of “Together for the Holidays” here at Hilo High school.
Join us for a night of Christmas extravaganza With mini craft fair, Christmas corners decorations, Keiki Christmas Gifts, arts and crafts and fun entertainments. We hope to see you all for a night of holidays!
College and Career Visitations
Hey Vikings! The College of Education at University of Hawaii at Manoa, will be visiting on December 7, 2022 at 12 PM during period 6. Please see Mrs. Frias in N-103 to sign up for this session and get a pass.
GEAR UP
To the class of 2024, are any of you thinking about going to college in the mainland? Would you like to experience what life would be like in another state? Well, GEAR UP is offering you an opportunity to find out. GEAR UP would like to take 10 students from the class of 2024 to both Washington and Oregon to visit college campuses during the summer of 2023.
The trip is FREE, aside from your luggage fees and spending money.
To go on this trip all you have to do is complete the application process. If you want to know more, or want to pick up an application packet see Mr. Rosas in B-35. You won't want to miss out on this opportunity!

Hey Vikings! There will be a winter band concert on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, starting at 5:30 PM at the Hilo High Auditorium. The Hilo Intermediate band and Hilo High Symphony, String Orchestra, and band will also be there. *puts trumpet up* If you want to hear us play, make sure to come and support the viking band!

The Hilo High School Student Credit Union will be hosting a Christmas Membership Drive TODAY, December 5, 2022, during the Hilo High Christmas Night, “Together for the Holidays” from 5 pm to 8 pm here at Hilo High School. Join and become a member of our student credit union. If you become a member that night, you can enter a giveaway for a chance to win $100 cash and some fun prizes!
To open an SCU account you will need the following:
Have $5 Cash to Deposit,
A Hilo High School Student ID or a different Government Issued ID, and know your Social Security Number, Mother's Maiden Name, and Physical or Mailing Address.

It's coming to that time of the year, JUNIOR PROM! Save the date, junior prom will be held on March 25th, 2023 at the Arc of Hilo. The theme of prom will be Enchanted forest. Your obligations must be paid prior to picking up a packet. Check outside room R13 Mr. Yamamoto's room starting Monday - Dec.5 if you are eligible to pick up a packet. Let's make this prom an enchanted one!
