Just a reminder, we'll have a meeting today in Mr.Assi's class (Room L-2) during lunch recess. You will receive an update on the upcoming HOSA State Leadership Conference in March 2022 on Oahu regarding registration and competitive events. We will also celebrate all club members who participated in the HOSA Big Island Regional Conference at UH-Hilo - College of Pharmacy. Hope to see you there!

SCU Membership Drive Winners
Here are the winners of the Student Credit Union Membership Drive Giveaway, held last week Monday during the “Together for the holidays” event. These students became a new member that night and had a chance to enter into a giveaway. We have 4 new members that won $25 gift cards. They are, Kiana Agpalza, Kayzahlun Mendoza-Sua, Tyra Le and Princess Mangoba. And the winner of our giveaway grand prize of $100 is (*add drum roll effect) Darrell Ramos! Congratulations! If you are a winner you will be contacted on how you can redeem your prize! If you want to be a member of the Hilo High Student Credit Union, you can pick up an application today at our LRC or visit the Hawaii Community Federal Credit union branch just behind Just Cruisin Cafe to be a member.
Junior Prom
Attention Juniors! If you are interested in attending Junior Prom in March, the Eligibility list is posted outside of Mr. Yamamoto room, R-13. Don’t see your name on the list? Please see Mrs. Hoota at the Front Office to clear any obligations. Students with obligations will be unable to attend if they are not cleared by Friday December 16, 2022 at 3:30pm. Any questions? GEAR UP
To the class of 2024, are any of you thinking about going to college in the mainland? Would you like to experience what life would be like in another state? Well, GEAR UP is offering you an opportunity to find out. GEAR UP would like to take 10 students from the class of 2024 to both Washington and Oregon to visit college campuses during the summer of 2023.
The trip is FREE, aside from your luggage fees and spending money.
To go on this trip all you have to do is complete the application process. If you want to know more, or want to pick up an application packet see Mr. Rosas in B-35. You won't want to miss out on this opportunity!
