Career Visitation

Hey Vikings!  Are you interested in learning more about becoming a Commercial Airline or Military Pilot?  Our former US Representative Kaiali'i Kahele is hosting an informational session on Wednesday, Feb 8th at Imiloa Astronomy Center from 6-8pm.  High School students, college students, and parents are all welcome to attend.  I hope to see you all there!


Boys & Girls Judo

Boys & Girls Judo Mandatory Practices start today, February 6, 2023

Practice Days will be from Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 6:30pm at the Wrestling/Judo Practice Room (Upstairs of New Gym).


Those currently in Winter Sports that have already signed up....Please report to practice as soon as your Winter Sport season is done.


Those who are interested in joining the judo team....Please report on February 6, 2023

Boys Volleyball Tryouts

Volleyball tryouts are today, Feb 6, tomorrow, Feb 7, and Wednesday Feb 8 at the new gym.

We will start at 4:00 and end at 6:30. You must have a current physical on file with the trainers to participate. Bring your shoes, some water, and a good attitude.

Softball Tryouts

Softball tryouts will be held this week starting from today, February 6 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at the Kapiolani Elementary School field. Bring shoes, gloves, and a jacket. Physicals are required in order to tryout. Any questions, call or text Assistant Coach Noe Kalipi at (808) 285-2191. Thank you!


Tennis Tryouts

Boys and girls interested in trying out for tennis, tryouts will be today Feb. 6 and tomorrow Feb. 7 at Hilo Inter courts.  Boys at 3:30-6 pm and Girls at 4:00-6:00 pm.  Physicals need to be turned in before trying out.  Any questions, see coach Leanne in F-Bldg.  Those wanting to try out , but are in a winter sport please see coach Leanne asap. Thank you!


Valentine's Day

Hey Vikings! With valentines around the corner, the Student Association is selling valentine's roses. If you are interested in ordering flowers for someone special, you can pre-order roses till February 8, 2023, in room A-16 during lunch. Single roses will be sold for $4, a bouquet of 3 roses will be sold for $10, and anonymous delivery will be an additional $1. Order forms and payment can be made during lunch at A-16. Pickup will be on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14 in room A-16. Let's celebrate this season of love with roses!

AG Discovery

Hey, Vikings!  Are you interested in learning more about a career in Agriculture?  Do you love plants and animals?  Maybe you've thought about becoming a Veterinarian?  See Mrs. Frias in N-103 to learn more about a FREE summer program at UH Manoa called AG Discovery.  It's a 2-week program from July 9-22nd this summer where you can live in the dorms at Manoa, and spend time learning through hands-on experiences and field trips!  Applications are open now and are due in March, so get the information soon!

Hey Vikings! Our homecoming is coming up! To finish off our homecoming week, we will be having our homecoming Hoolaulea, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 4 pm to 8 pm, where we are gonna have a variety of vendors, live entertainment, and activity booths! If you want to be a vendor at our marketplace, or want to showcase your talent that night, or have an activity booth, you can register using the link on your screen or scan the QR code to register.
