Elections

The election will be today, April 3rd, 202 3, during STARS, so make sure to exercise your right to vote! Your participation in the election is crucial to the success of our school, and we want to make sure that your voice is heard.


Senior Luau

Aloha Seniors! We are excited to announce our Senior Luau happening on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 5:30 to 9:30 pm at the Hilo High patio. This is an event you wouldn't want to miss as it promises to be a night filled with fun and unforgettable memories.


You can pick up a bid packet from today, April 3, to Friday, April 7, 2023, during lunch at Mr. Finley's room, C-110 to secure your spot. The cost of the bid ticket is $25, and payment collection will be from April 10 to 14, 2023. Please note that guests are not allowed, and you must have all your obligations cleared before attending.


We can't wait to see you on this special night!


Center For Tomorrow's Leaders

Hey VIkings! Do you have to wait for your ride afterschool? Come to The Viking’s Corner located at C - 127, Mr. Peralta’s room! Open for all students to hang out and study after school. The Viking’s Corner is  beginning on Monday April 3rd, 2023  after school on Mondays from 2:00 - 3:15 pm, Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:45pm and on Even Fridays on 1:20 pm to 2:20 pm and Odd Fridays on 2:30 pm and 3:45 pm. There will be materials for students that want to do homework and board games for students who want to hang out with their friends. We hope to see you at our After school viking’s corner!


Junior Parent Night

Attention Juniors,

Junior Parent Night meeting will be held tomorrow, April 4, 2023. Please come with your parent/guardian to hear updates from your class council, college and career center and some senior year updates. Other Announcements


ASVAB

All 10th-12th graders, the last ASVAB administration for this school year will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.


The test will be administered in C-215 and will start promptly at 8:10 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB. 


Email Ms. Arquero at [email protected] to reserve your spot.


Due to COVID-19, the number of test-takers per session has been reduced to 30.

C-215 will be closed all morning on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 to accommodate the test.


Career Visitation

Aloha, Vikings!  Are you interested in learning more about a career in the areas of Hotels, Travel and Tourism?  Hawaii Community College's Hospitality and Tourism Department will be here to share information with us.  Please see Mrs. Frias in N-103 to sign up and pick up a pass.
