PRE-ROLL: May Day Scavenger Hunt Winners 


Aloha! Last week, the May Day Committee had prepared a three-day Scavenger hunt. I am here to announce the winners! On Tuesday, we have Sanford Tavares. Wednesday, Emily Panela. And Thursday, Hokulani Thomas. Maika’i loa to our Scavenger Hunt Winners!


Our Hilo High staff was also given the opportunity to win a prize by answering the following riddle: 

-It might seem a journey, but not too far away

Transitioning amongst the green and grey

Pulling you through to witness this year's May Day


The correct answer was the bridge to the new gym and the winner of a Wailana retractable tag holder, keychain and a $25 gift certificate to Cafe Pesto is...

All prizes can be picked up Tuesday, May 16th and Wednesday, May 17th in Kumu ‘Awa’s room, K101.  Mahalo for playing.

Patio Kiosk

Vikings, Wednesday May 17 is the last day for kiosks in the patio. There will be no lunch served after that day. Please head to the cafeteria for lunch. Thank you!


Athletics

Aloha Vikings,  at lunchtime we will be recognizing all of Hilo High School Sports.  Please come in front of the auditorium to pick-up your Certificates of achievements for each sport you play.  There will be music and also you can take pictures with your teammates.  Good job to all student athletes who represented Hilo High School with Loyalty and Honor.  Go Vikings! 


Football

Attention all Football Players returning and new - Spring Conditioning will begin on Monday May 15, 2023 till May 26, 2023 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Hilo High School Track and Field. Please report to the field by 3:45pm to check-in and be sure to check on your physicals.  Bring tennis shoes, cleats, and water to stay hydrated.  We are excited to see you all there and please help spread the word. Mahalo!
