World Kindness Day (11/7/23-11/13/23)
Monday, November 13th is World Kindness Day. To celebrate, wear Aloha Attire to promote kindness to all! If you're decked out in the aloha spirit, we'll be giving you a treat and a kind message! Remember to choose kindness everyday- and we hope to see all your colorful aloha attire!
While during period 4, Elliot Hopkins from the National Federation of High School Athletics will be giving a presentation on hazing and bullying. If you're interested in going, please come to room A-16 to pick up a pass to attend.
Winter Ball Packet Pick Ups (11/6/23-11/8/23)
The Hilo High School 2023 Winter Ball will be hosted on Saturday, December 16, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the new gym. Packet pick-ups will be available on November 16th, 17th, 21st, and 22nd. To see if you are eligible for the dance and have paid all your dues, please check the list outside of room A-16. Thank you!
Senior Luau Bid and Mob Shot(11/8/23-11/13/23)
Seniors attending Senior Luau will be able to pick up their bids Starting on Monday Nov. 13 through Wednesday Nov. 15 during lunch at Mr. Yamamoto's Room - R.13. No Bid? No Entry! If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Yamamoto.
Also, a reminder that Senior Mob Shot will be on Monday Nov. 13 during STARS. Please have your signs ready for our class picture. Head down to the gym during recess as we only have 20 minutes to get your picture taking completed. If you have any questions regarding senior mob shot, please contact or see Mrs. Mant, Mahalo!
Environmental Agents of Change Meeting (11/7/23-11/8/23)
Hey EAC Members! There will be a General Meeting on Thursday, November 9th during lunch in Ms. R's room. We will start promptly at 12:35pm. We will be going over information about upcoming events and conducting our special officers voting! You will need to be present in order to vote. We hope to see you on Thursday!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (11/7/23-11/10/23)
There is a new student lead club called FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Come to Mr. Masuyama’s room during lunch this Thursday on November 9th and join us for games, free pizza and a short message.

Senior Mob Shot (10/30/23-11/13/23)
Seniors, it is time to get ready for our group photo "The Mob Shot" down at the new gym. It will be on Monday, Nov. 13th, during STARS class. Please create your poster no bigger than 24" wide and 18"tall, have no contraband or bad language, with your name, your passion, or your place name. Make sure your poster can fit in front of your body and not block your face or anyone else's face. Pictures will be taken promptly at the tardy bell, so make your way down at the new gym at the end of first recess. Questions? Ask Mrs. Mant, mahalo!

Viking Canned Food Drive(11/3/23-11/22/23)
Thanksgiving is here so now it's time for our Viking Canned Food Drive! It will be taking place from November 8th to the 22nd and will be a COMPETITION between the classes! The class that is able to get the most cans will be pieing an advisor from each of the losing classes in the face- so if you want to donate some canned goods and help your class out, drop your canned goods off in front of room A-16 starting Wednesday, November 8th.
