Law and Public Safety Students Visit State Judiciary

On March 6, students from Mr. Kurt Iokepa’s Second Year Law and Public Safety classes had the opportunity to visit The Hawaii State Judiciary in Honolulu.

As a part of their experience they were able to observe and ask questions about the inner workings of the judiciary building and even had a chance to observe and visit the courtrooms of The Honorable Judge Fa’auuga L. To’oto’o and The Honorable Supreme Court Justice Lisa Ginoza.  It was also very exciting to meet up with and observe Hawaii Public Defender and Hilo High School Alumnus, Charles Cryan!

Thank you to our school partners from Gear Up Manoa for hosting this fun and informative trip.  We hope that it has answered some questions for our vikings planning for future employment with Law and Public Safety!

Great Job Vikings!
