Extra May Day Ho’ike Tickets (5/8/24-5/10/24)
Do you still need tickets to the evening May Day Hōʻike that is happening next week Friday? Well, you are in luck! We still have some general seating tickets for $5. Go to Kumu Heatherʻs room in R-20 during morning and lunch recess OR after school at the office starting TODAY, May 8th until tickets run out. Better get them quick, before they run out! Mahalo nui loa and see you at the show!
Yearbook Pickup (4/25/24-5/10/24)
The yearbooks are HERE! Please go see Mrs. Mant in her room L-5 during lunch on your classes' priority day THIS WEEK. Bring your ID and/or your receipt. If you did not pre-order a yearbook, you can buy one for $50 cash on your priority day, or after.
The pick up times are as follows:
Sophomores: TODAY, May 8th During Lunch
And Freshmen: TOMORROW, May 9th During Lunch
All Vikings are welcome to come on Friday, May 10th during Lunch.

Hawaii International Science Experience (HISE)
ATTENTION HILO HIGH 9TH-11TH GRADERS! Are you interested in STEM? Do you like meeting new people? We are looking for East Hawaii's high-achieving students to represent Hawaii in the 2024-2025 inaugural Hawaii International Science Experience (HISE) program. Mahalo for your interest! HISE is paving the way for our youth to embrace the challenges of an interconnected world with passion and determination. We are providing students opportunities to interact with globally diverse peers, enabling them to broaden their international perspectives and foster relationships with exceptional foreign students. Through our 6-day-program, students will participate in fun activities, behind-the-scenes industry tours, and collaborative projects across the island. Baseball Division 1 Championship Winners (5/8/24 - 5/10/24)
Congratulations to our Boys Baseball team for becoming the 2024 BIIF Division 1 Champions! On Monday, our Vikings put a stop to a potential three-peat win for the Waiakea Warriors. What a close game! Again, congratulations to our Boy’s ba seball team and good luck at states!
