May Day Week (5/15/24)
Once again, HAPPY MAY DAY WEEK VIKINGS! Today, the themed dress up was "Fun with Flags", so you can dress in the colors of your culture's flag! Tomorrow, May 16th, there will be a game of "Gimmie Gimmie" during lunch and giving out some candy prizes: do you think you'll be the first to give the item asked for? Let's see! May Day Scavenger hunt (5/14/24-5/15/24 : Script changes everyday)
On behalf of the May Day committee, here is day 2 of the scavenger hunt!
Using the hints from the riddles given, look for the place that the gifts are hidden. You will be given a picture as a hint, and if you can guess it, the google form will be open from 8:15 AM to 3 PM each day to submit your answers.
Today, Wednesday, May 15th, the riddle will take you to:

WHAT'S NEW VIKINGS?
Genki Ball toss (5/15/24-5/17/24)
Do you remember the almost 400 Genki Balls our very own Hilo High Students made on Earth Day? Well, they are finally ready to be used to clean the ponds at Liliuokalani Gardens! The Genki Ball toss will be this Sunday, May 19th, at 2pm at Liliuokalani Ponds near the Teahouse entrance. There will be a short educational presentation, before the toss! If you are interested in coming to this event, feel free to stop by! Anyone from the community is welcome, so bring a friend too!

Band (5/13/2024 - 5/15/2024)
Hey Vikings! Thank you for all your continued support for our music programs. the hilo high school symphony orchestra and the viking band are having their aloha concert on Wednesday may 15th at the Hilo High Auditorium. the concert starts at 6:30 with our very own hilo high symphony orchestra , then following with our Viking Band. We will also be featuring our HHS Digital Design and Computer Art work. Please come and enjoy our last concert of the year as we say Aloha to our seniors and show our appreciation for their dedication to our Viking Band and Orchestra.
