Key Club Sign-Ups (8/6/24-8/8/24)
Hi vikings! Do you want to make a difference in your home, school and community through service? If so, consider joining key club! Key club is a student based service club that does a variety of service projects. To learn more, come to the pool during lunch on Wednesday. If you can’t make it, please feel free to contact Lindsey at [email protected].
Chromebook Distribution (8/6/24-8/9/24)
1 to 1 Chromebook Distributions will begin TODAY Wednesday, August 7 to Friday, August 9 in C-215. For Freshmen, your English teacher will bring your class to pick up devices. For students in grade 10-12, you may pick up devices during recess, lunch, or after-school ONLY.
Please bring your SIGNED 1 to 1 Technology Provision form to pick up a device. Freshmen received this form in their "Beginning of School Year" folder. All other students can pick up a form in C-215.
If you have any questions please see a tech in room C-117.

Are you interested in being an anchor for our bulletin or even work behind the scenes? Join KVIKS Media! We are looking for on-screen talent for our bulletin, live sports commentating and special reports. We are also looking for people to join our bulletin crew, as well as our photography, videography, audio/video and broadcasting programs! Did you see the banners around campus and on the light poles? Your artwork skills are needed too! Fill out the contact form through the qr code on screen or visit us in C-117 if you are interested.
School ID’s (8/6/24-8/9/24)
School ID cards will be available during recess and lunch this week. If you do not have your School ID card please come to C-215 to get a new one. Thank You!
Health and Traffic Safety Club (8/6/24 - 8/7/24)
Students from the Health and Traffic Safety Club of Hilo High School, Kayla Imai, Roxan Barlam, Kayden Brigoli Valdez, and Kenzie Yoshimura, attended the National Student Safety Program Conference in Albany, New York, and were awarded the 2024 National Safety Gold Level Group Award. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs Blair, Mrs Yamauchi, all Driver's Ed Instructors, Mrs Meekers at the state, and ADTSEA conference organizers for their invaluable support and guidance. Your encouragement and assistance made this achievement possible.
Girls Basketball (8/6/2024)
If you are interested in playing Basketball this year, please visit the main office for an application. Physicals are required and will need to be done within the next month if you apply. Thank you!

Hey, Vikings! Have you ever wanted to try out singing, acting, dancing? Maybe you feel like you could be the next big movie star! Or maybe, you’d rather stay backstage, being the linchpins keeping the show running, and making it look fabulous. Whatever creative endeavor you want to pursue, The Performing Arts Learning Center has you covered! Make sure you come to the Auditorium at recess or lunch, to pick up registration forms and see if you want to join! Forms are due Friday, August 23rd, and the first parent meeting is after school at 4:00! The first day of PALC will be on Tuesday, August 27th, and we will be meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays until further notice. Please, we need tech- (gets cut off)
