The Hilo High School Viking Battalion kicked off the first Strong Bonds event of the school year over the Labor Day weekend, September 1st and 2nd. This event brought together twenty cadets in order to strengthen bonds, share leadership experiences, and participate in various JROTC activities. Each Battalion Staff member invited a cadet to participate, providing a unique opportunity for cadets to build strong relationships with current staff members and gain valuable insights into leadership roles. The event featured a variety of JROTC activities designed to enhance teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. The Strong Bonds event was a resounding success, providing a solid foundation for the Viking Battalion's leadership development program. We congratulate the participating cadets and look forward to their continued growth and contributions to the battalion.
