Career Fair Field Trip (11/13/24-11/14/24)
This announcement is for all Vikings who turned in their signed Career Fair Field Trip Forms to Mrs. Frias. Please meet at the bus ramp TODAY, Thursday, November 14th at the start of recess @ 9:30am. You will be checked in and loaded into the buses. Be sure to dress appropriately to meet community business members, and remember to bring your water bottle and something to write with. See you at the bus ramp at the start of recess!

STAR Attendance Program (Thursdays a nd Fridays)
Hey Vikings! Just a reminder, Stars Attendance will be held this Saturday in the cafeteria from 8am to 12pm.
Class of 2025 Graduation Song Voting (11/11/24-11/18/24)
Attention Class of 2025! On November 18, 2024, During STARS, all seniors are invited to the auditorium for your graduation class song listening and voting session! This is your chance to choose the song that will represent the Class of 2025 Jaguars. Let’s make this an unforgettable moment, so be there to listen and cast your vote! See you there, Seniors!
Speech and Debate Club Hygiene Items Collection (11/12/24-11/15/24)
As a reminder, please donate any unused and unopened personal hygiene items through Friday, Nov 15th. All donations will be distributed at HOPE services annual thanksgiving luncheon
Collection bins located at: A12-A (Ms. Baum); R-11 (Ms. Sullivan); B-45 (Ms. Laliberte). Or, Send Ms. Laliberte an email for pick up! Mahalo!
ASVAB Testing (11/12/24-11/22/24)
All 10th-12th graders, the next ASVAB administration is on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024. The test will be administered in C-217 and will start promptly at 8:00 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB.
Email Mrs. Fukushima and Mrs. Frias using the Emails on the screen to reserve your spot.
The number of test-takers per session is 20 on a first come first served basis.
Reserve your spot by Friday, November 22, 2024.

Christmas Corners (11/7/24-11/20/24)
Tis the season vikings! As Christmas Corners is fast approaching, packets will be available for pickup. If you missed the informational meeting but still want to participate, go to room A-16 to pick up a packet. They're available for pickup from now until TOMORROW, November 15. All packets are due by November 20th during lunch.

Viking Wrestling (11/14/24 - 11/15/24)
Hey vikings! Ready to make this season unforgettable? Join the Hilo High Wrestling Team! There is no experience needed. Preseason practices are happening now at the Hilo High Old Gym, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM. If you're interested or have any questions, contact Coach Kahanu at [email protected]. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the team!
Canned Food Drive (11/7/24-11/26/24)
Heads UP: we will be holding our annual canned food drive from TUESDAY November 12 to to TUESDAY November 26th, you can donate canned goods to those in need in front of room A-16, during recess, lunch, or right after school!
For every two cans you donate, you'll get a ticket to dunk a teacher OR student in our dunk tank during lunch on November 27th!
So donating cans is a great way to help others and have some fun at the same time!
So, remember to donate any day from the 12th to the 26th, right in front of A-16 to help out our community and have some fun before Thanksgiving Break at our Dunk Tank!
Winter Ball Packet Pick Up (11/13/24-11/15/24)
Hey Vikings! Interested in going to Winter ball? Well, packet pickup will take place next week Monday through Friday, November 18th to the 22nd, in F-Building during lunch. All you need to pick up a packet is some kind of ID, so why not get one!
