UH Manoa College Visitation is Today (11/27/24-12/5/24)

UH Manoa will be here at 12 noon, during pd 6. Additionally, Oregon Institute of Technology will be here on Thursday, December 5th at 10:00am during pd 3. Please go to N-103 to sign up for a session and pick up a pass.

 

Boys Basketball Dippin Dots Sale (12/2/24-12/4/24)

These sweet treats will be sold after school TODAY thru Wednesday in the Mauka patio. Come support the boys team as they prepare for the upcoming season.

 

WHAT’S NEW VIKINGS?

 

Attention all KVIKS Media members, (12/2/24-12/5/24)

We will be having our General Meeting this Thursday, December 5th, 2024 during lunch in C-215. We will be going over important events and our Christmas Party! If you wish to pick up lunch before the meeting, pick up a lunch slip in C-117.

 

Hilo-Waiakea Chess Tournament (12/2/24-12/6/24)

Calling all Chess Players! The Waiakea Chess Club has reached out to see if Hilo High would like to participate in a chess tournament between our two schools. If you’re interested in this event, please contact Mr Caceres, in Room A23.

Quarter 3 Bus Application Window is now OPEN (11/26/24-12/6/24)

The application window closes on January 17th. If you would like to ride for the third quarter, you can submit your application online or pickup and return a paper copy at the main office. Those of you who have a Quarter 2 bus pass may still ride until Winter Break, or December 20th. If you have any questions, please stop by the office.

HO HO HO! Santa is here with a VERY special announcement: CHRISTMAS CORNERS is coming up on MONDAY DECEMBER 2ND in the HILO HIGH PATIO from 5-8:30! It will be a night you won't want to miss: classes and clubs will be having fun games and activities, serving food concessions like TEAPRESSO, pictures with SANTA, and LOADS of gifts to give away! So don't forget to come down to CHRISTMAS CORNERS on Monday for FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

 

Winter Ball Packet Payment (12/2/24-12/6/24) [tbf]

HEY VIKS!! Did you pick up a winterball packet? Well, now it's time for Winterball Payment! The cost is $4 0, CASH ONLY, and payment will be THIS WEEK during lunch, December 2nd to the 6th in F-Building. Remember to have your WHOLE PACKET filled out, ID printed and attached to your packet, and your money ready to go so our line can run smoothly! When you pay, you will be given a colored slip attached to your receipt, DON'T LOSE THIS, as it will designate WHAT DAY you can come to table selection NEXT WEEK, as table selection will be based on payment date. Ensemble Performance (11/27/24-12/2/24)

Aloha Vikings! On Monday, December 2 from 5 to 8 pm, we will have a variety of special performances at our Christmas Corners Event. Starting with the Hilo Intermediate Band, Hilo High School Orchestra, Taiko Club, Hilo High School Ensemble Class, and Brass Ensembles featuring Tuba Christmas. If you’re interested in our Ensemble Class, see me, any of our other classmates, or Mr. Yoshimoto for more information. We will also be performing at the patio next Wednesday at lunch. See you there!
