HERE ARE THE LATEST UPDATES ON SPORTS CONDITIONING, TRAINING, AND TRYOUTS
Boys Volleyball Conditioning (2/3/25-2/4/25)
Conditioning will be TODAY, February 3, 2025 and TOMORROW February 4, 2025 in the New Gym from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. All students Must have a current physical to participate.
Girls Tennis Tryouts (1/29/25-2/11/25)
Tryouts for Girls Tennis are on Monday Feb 10, Tuesday Feb 11, and Wednesday Feb 12 from 4-6pm at Hilo Intermediate courts across the street. Remember- No Physical, No Tryouts.
WHAT’S NEW VIKINGS?
ACE Excursion Forms (2/3/25-2/5/25)
Attention ACE students, Please return your permission forms for your college excursion to UH and HCC that will be happening on March 5th. The forms are due this Wednesday, February 5. ACE is aiming for 100% participation. You must choose your lunch option before the due date to ensure you have access to food. Permission forms turned in means free food! Please return your permission forms to your CTE teacher. Again, return your permission forms by this Wednesday, February 5th.
Senior Prom Packet Collection (2/3/25-2/11/25)
Senior Prom packet and bid collection will be from Thursday, February 6th to Tuesday, February 11. The first 50 guest packets to be submitted with a sponsoring senior packet will be accepted. Seat selection is based on the day your packet is submitted, the earlier the better. Please note that incomplete packets will not be accepted.
STAR ATTENDANCE DATES (2/3/25-5/19/25)
This semester's STAR Attendance Classes will resume on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 2pm -4pm in the Cafeteria. The full STAR Attendance schedule is up on the screen.

Motivational Speaker Session (2/3/25-2/5/25)
Attention students and staff! We’re excited to announce that Javier Sanchez will be visiting our school on February 13th. Javier Sanchez is a motivational speaker who inspires audiences with messages on personal growth, resilience, leadership, and overcoming challenges. He uses storytelling and practical advice to help people reach their full potential and stay positive. Teachers, please remember to sign up if you’d like your class to attend. Don’t miss out on this exciting event!

Kahuapono 2025 Summer Applications (1/29/25-2/3/25)
This program engages students in grades 6-12 through hands-on restoration work in
ʻāi na-based learning and takes students to natural areas across Hawaiʻi Island to learn about Hawaiʻi's unique plants, animals, and ecosystems. Students leave with a sense of place and responsibility to care for our island home. For more information or if you are interested in being a part of this amazing program, apply online via the link on the image on your screen or visit Mrs. Baum in A12a. Applications are due May 6th, 2025.
