TODAY AT HILO HIGH SCHOOL
STAR ATTENDANCE (2/3/25-5/19/25)
There will be a STAR Attendance Class TODAY, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 2pm-4pm in the Cafeteria. Students must have assigned work from their teacher and a valid Hilo High ID to enter. All regular school rules apply.

Hawaiian Club Meeting (3/9/25-3/13/25)
Aloha Hawaiian club members. There will be an end of the quarter gathering TOMORROW, Thursday, March 13 at Kumu Awas room K-101. No need to bring anything just come! Mahalo
Senior Service Awards (3/12/25-3/14/25)
Attention all seniors! It's time to recognize your dedication and service to Hilo High School. The applications for the Senior Service Awards are now open! This is your chance to highlight the significant contributions you've made to our school community. If you've gone above and beyond in service, we want to hear from you. If you are interested in receiving an application, please scan the QR code on the flyer and fill in the Google form. Once the form is completed, an application will be sent directly to your school email. The deadline to submit your application is April 4th. Don't miss this opportunity to be recognized for your hard work!

AP Class Contracts (3/7/25-3/13/25)
As a reminder, AP Contracts are due this Friday, March 14th. If you did not receive a contract, please pick one up at the registrar's office immediately. If you do not turn in your AP Contract, the school will assume that you are no longer interested in taking the course and your course request for next year will be deleted.
Lunch Line Reminder (3/7/25-3/14/25)
No one likes long lines to pick up lunch. Speed up the process by having your school ID ready! As a reminder, it is school policy to have your ID on-person at all times, so, if you are one of those students who hold up the lunch line because you forgot it, you are part of the problem. Request a copy of your ID from the main office for free, or have it ready on the Hilo High App.

Do YOU want to make a difference in our community? Have your voice heard in Hilo High and beyond? How about making new friends and gaining loads of new experiences? If so, student council is PERFECT for you! Both class council and student association, or school-wide council elections, are just around the corner, so if you're interested in running, pick up a packet anytime in room A-16 from March 10th to the 14th, and completed packets must be turned in to room A-16 by March 25th. So Vikings, why not run for student council and open up to a world of opportunities and impact our community? We hope to see you pick up a packet in A-16!
