TODAY AT HILO HIGH SCHOOL
Bus Applications (3/24/25-3/27/25)
TODAY is the last day to turn in Quarter 4 bus applications. Any applications turned in afterwards will be rejected. If you have any questions, please stop by the office.
New Zealand College Panel (3/24/25-3/28/25)
TODAY, Friday, March 28th during pd 6, a panel of college representatives from the University of Otago, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Auckland, and Lincoln University will be sharing information about studying in their home country of New Zealand! Please come to N-103 to sign up and pick up a pass to attend.
WHAT’S NEW VIKINGS?
PAAC Club Meeting (3/28/25-4/1/25)
There will be a PAAC (PACK) club meeting on Tuesday April 1st at lunch in BB-201. You will be discussing further projects and member availability. Feel free to get lunch before the meeting and remember to bring a friend!
Lunch Line Reminder (3/28/25-4/1/25)
No one likes long lines to pick up lunch. Speed up the process by having your school ID ready! As a reminder, it is school policy to have your ID on-person at all times. Request a copy of your ID from the main office for $1 per reprint, or have it ready on the Hilo High App.
Commencement Speakers Needed (3/26/25-4/4/25)
Attention Juniors! Do you enjoy public speaking? The Class of 2025 is looking for a Master or Mistress of Ceremonies (MC) for their commencement ceremony. If you are interested, please see Ms. Arbles in Room A-22 by April 4, 2025 to sign up. Thank you for your contribution, juniors!
Cap and Gown Reminders (3/27/25-4/1/25)
Seniors! As commencement gets closer, here are a few reminders for your cap and gowns:
- hang up your gown and cool iron-only to get the wrinkles out
- caps may NOT be decorated
- no external adornment may be worn
- keep your tassel with your cap so you don’t lose it
ASVAB Testing (3/25/25-4/4/25)
All 10th-12th graders, the last ASVAB administration for this school year is on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025. The test will be administered in C-217 and will start promptly at 8:00 AM. If you are planning on joining the military post-high school, you will need to take the ASVAB.
Email Mrs. Fukushima to reserve your spot. The number of test-takers per session is 20 on a first come first served basis. Reserve your spot by April 4, 2025.

STAR ATTENDANCE (2/3/25-5/19/25)
There will be a STAR Attendance Class TOMORROW, March 29, 2025 from 8am-12:20pm in the Cafeteria. Students must have assigned work from their teacher and a valid Hilo High ID to enter. All regular school rules apply.
