Congratulations goes out to your 2025 HHSAA Boys State Tennis Singles champion- Bryan Assi! Your dedication to the sport and work ethic on the court shined through at states and we are proud of you!

Yearbook Distribution Dates (5/8/25-5/15/25)

Here are the scheduled pickup dates for each class:

TODAY, Wednesday, May 14 – Freshmen AND Sophomores

TOMORROW, Thursday, May 15 – Everybody else who haven't picked up their yearbook

Friday, May 16 – No pickups

If you’re unsure if you bought a yearbook, a list has been published outside of L-5.

 

ALSO, If you’d like to purchase a physical copy of the Yearbook Spring Supplement, bring $10 to L-2 Ms. Blair’s room. 

 

Key Club Meeting (5/14/25)

Want to do something meaningful with your time? Key Club is the perfect way to get involved, give back, and connect with others who care about making a difference! Join them TODAY,  Wednesday, May 14 during lunch by the pool for their weekly meeting! Whether you’re looking to earn service hours, meet new people, or just be part of something bigger—there’s a place for you!

FCA Meeting (5/13/2025-5/16/2025)

There will be a FCA meeting TOMORROW, Thursday May 15 at the pool during lunch. Come down and bring some friends to learn about the word of God. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Junior Concession Donations (5/6/25-5/16/25)

Donations are still being accepted  to help support the Junior class Concession at Commencement. The list has been updated with items that are still needed. If you'd like to contribute, please see Ms. Ho’ota in Room B-42 to pick up an updated donation form. 

 

Girls Basketball Skill Workouts (5/7/25-5/30/25)

Any girls interested in playing basketball next year, there are skills workouts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6pm to 7:45pm

Did you know there are 9 national parks in Hawaii? Ms. Crowlʻs sophomore English classes have been researching our Hawaii national parks. They have created public service announcement videos about these parks to persuade others to learn about them and support them. Hereʻs a PSA about Hono’uli’uli, which is a former Japanese internment camp on the ‘ewa side of Oahu, created by Kayden Brigoli Valdez, Fa’a Iose-Nau, and Jos Iwo.

A new project was posted in Google Classroom!  A limited number of members are needed to participate in this event, so please check out the form and fill it out EVEN IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND!

 

May Day Ticket Sales (5/12/25-5/14/25)

If you missed May Day ticket sales, tickets will be sold out of K-101, Kumu ʻAwa's room for students and staff only. Guests outside of Hilo High School they will only be able to purchase tickets at the front office.
