No Lunch Kiosk This Week (5/21/25-5/30/25)
There will be no Lunch Kiosk this week, May 27-30. All meals will be served in the cafeteria only.
BRIGHTSPOTS
Congratulations to our Hilo High Mathletes on the Math Team! After a successful year competing against 16 other schools, including Waiakea and 14 Oahu schools, in the Newton Division of the Oahu Math League, Hilo High won the Most Improved Award for the 2024-2025 school year! Congratulations to our mathletes for their hard work and dedication. It's a great honor to be recognized among the 16 teams throughout the state. And the math team will be recruiting more members for next year. Come join and be a part of the fun! We can't wait to see what the future holds for these Math Whiz's.

Academy Fun Day Information (5/28/25-5/30/25)
Aloha students! The Academy Fun Day is scheduled this Friday, May 30. Please wear your Academy t-shirt or Academy color shirts this Friday to participate in the Academy events and for the Academy points. Colors for the academies are:
Freshman Academy - Blue
ACE - Gray
HHS - Black
BNR - Green
PTP Summer Session (5/27/25-5/29/25)
Calling all current juniors and sophomores! If you're a junior who needs to complete your Personal Transition Plan (PTP) before the next school year, or a sophomore eager to finish yours early, a special advanced summer school session is your chance. Don't miss out—there are only seven spots left for this focused PTP completion program. See Ms. Frias ASAP in N-103 to get your application form today!

2026 Senior Portraits (5/27/25-5/30/25)
Attention upcoming 2026 seniors — it's time to start thinking about your senior portraits!
There are three photo options:
- Schedule with Reed Takaaze at (808) 961-0001
- Use a photographer of your choice
- Or take the photo yourself
Once your portrait is ready, submit it to Mrs. Blair using the QR code or Google Form provided. (only if taken with a different photographer than Reed.) Also,Make sure the senior fills the frame and the background is simple. Let’s make this your senior year unforgettable — get those portraits in!
Also,
Are you interested in sending quotes and baby photos during senior year? If so, use the QR code to submit your photos and quotes for next year’s yearbook to create some sweet memories, both are due on August 30th, 2025.
