Hilo High Open House

Join us for our annual High School Open House on August 20th, 2025! This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers, explore our campus, and learn more about our academic and extracurricular programs.

The evening will begin with check-in at the cafeteria from 4:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Afterward, enjoy light refreshments prepared by our talented culinary students, courtesy of Title I, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m along with a message from our Principal, Mr. De Mello!

From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., you'll have the chance to visit classrooms and speak with our faculty. The evening will conclude with a special NCAA eligibility presentation by Mrs. Frias in the auditorium from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Please note that an RSVP is required only if you plan to have refreshments. You do not need to RSVP to attend the other events. We look forward to seeing you there!

Chasing Tomorrow

The theme for our yearbook this year is: CHASING TOMORROW! Are you ready to bring it to life? We’re looking for a talented designer to create the 2025–2026 yearbook cover!

For the Class of 2026, tomorrow has inspired every late-night study session, every performance, every friendship, and every challenge we’ve overcome. Chasing Tomorrow is more than a theme, it’s our mindset. It’s about moving forward boldly and proudly, with the heart of a Viking.

This could be your chance to create a cover that captures it all. Interested? Reach out and show us your creativity!
