(8/20-8/21) Filipino Club is having a meeting TODAY, August 21, 2025, during lunch recess in Mr. Caceres room A-23. You will be going over elections, membership forms, future activities, and getting to know each other better.

Hoʻāla Academy Meeting (8/21-25/25)
Aloha Hoʻāla Academy Students, On Monday, August 25th, we will be having a meeting for all STARS classes in the Hoʻāla academy in the auditorium. With the changing of academies, we understand that some of you may not know who is a part of the Hoʻāla academy. So if you are in the Construction, Welding, Engineering, Digital Design, or Business pathways, congrats! You are a part of Hoʻāla. Make sure to head to the auditorium after recess and sit with your STARS class.
Senior Mobshot (8/20 - 8/22)
Attention Class of 2026! Senior Mobshot day is coming up in September! Each senior will create a sign with their name. Remember the guidelines: it must be 18 x 24 inches, no brands or logos, no profanity, and it must fit in front of your body so everyone can be seen. Bring your tiger spirit and creativity so let's make this mobshot one to remember!
HOSA Meeting (8/21-8/22/2025)
Aloha HOSA Members, There is a meeting TOMORROW, in Mr. Assi's Class, Room L2. Your new elected Officers will be introduced as well as the HOSA Activities schedule for this year. You will be talking about the Big Island Regional Conference at the U.H Pharmacy School in November. Thank you for your attendance.

(8/19-21/25) Hilo Viking Robotics
Are you interested in designing, engineering, programming, or building robots? Consider joining Hilo Viking Robotics! Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 in H-building. All returning members should check google classroom for any updates from Ms. Dee.
To apply, scan the QR code for the member application form. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Dee or Arizona Chang. If you're interested in joining, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday and Thursday at H-Building after school from 3-5 PM.
(8/19-22/25) Art Club will have its first general meeting tomorrow, August 22nd, after school in Ms. Zanetos' room (L-4). New members are welcome to join!

(8/18-22/25) Taiko Club’s First Practices will be held TODAY, Thursday, August 21st from 3:30 to 4:15 pm in the band room. There will also be practice on August 27th from 3:15 to 4:00PM and August 28th from 3:30 to 4:15 pm also in the band room. Tryouts will be on September 3rd at 3:15.
Class of 2026 Senior Night (8/20-8/27)
"Attention Class of 2026! Mark your calendars — Senior Parent Night is coming up on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Parents' attendance will be your first opportunity to earn your first commencement ticket. Before the event, we’ll be hosting a Mini College & Military Fair from 4:45 to 5:30 PM — itʻs a great chance to explore your options after graduation. Seniors, don’t forget to follow our class Instagram @hilohigh2026 and join our Google Classroom: Hilo High Class of 2026 to stay updated on all senior year announcements! Make sure to stay connected and keep track of all important senior information by checking our class Instagram and Google Classroom regularly.”

Girls Basketball Meeting
There will be a Girls Basketball general meeting with Coach Fred on August 27, 2025 for people interested in playing this season. The meeting will take place immediately after school in the lower patio.
PALC VIDEO (8/8 - 8/22)
Hey Vikings! Have you ever wanted to express yourself on stage? Maybe you’ve always possessed a flair for the Shakespearean, and you can understand that all the world’s a stage, its men and women merely players? Do you have another performative venture you’ve wanted to try, like writing your own play? Do you like singing and/or dancing? Perhaps, you even would like to try screaming at people? Maybe, you don’t actually want to be on the stage, and you’d rather learn how to operate a spotlight, or make sets and props! If any of these are true of you, even if another isn’t, you should try out for PALC! Forms are available from the Auditorium starting the 8th, and they are due by the 22nd. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Ms. Nakamura.
