[VIDEO] Career and College Counseling
Good morning, Vikings! It's Mrs. Frias, your Career and College Counselor located in N-103. I'm excited to let you know that our first Career and College Speakers are being scheduled, so I wanted to remind you of the procedure to sign up for a session.
First, all speaker sessions will be announced through the KVIKS morning bulletin. Please remind your teachers to play the bulletin every morning at 8:10am, and you can even watch it yourself on the hilo high youtube page if you happen to miss it.
If you hear a session announced that you are interested in attending, please visit my room N-103 before school, during recess or lunch, or even after school to sign up and pick up a pass.
Once you've received a pass from either myself or Ms. Lawrence in N-103, you need to ask your teacher's permission to attend the session. For example, if the session is scheduled for next week Tuesday during pd 3, you need your pd 3 teacher's signature on your pass in order to attend. You will bring your signed pass with you as your entry ticket to the session.
I try to bring a variety of Career and College opportunities to Hilo High as you start to make decisions about your future, so I hope to see you attending! Swing by N-103 if you have any questions, or if you just want to talk stories about your future plans. I look forward to working with you all this year!
