Congratulations to the Viking Math Team! This past weekend, the Hilo mathletes scored the most points in a math meet since before the pandemic! If you see one of these mathletes walking around campus, give them congratulations and gratitude for representing the Vikings. The next meet is October 25th. New members are still being accepted. Stop by Mr. Youngʻs room, BB-301. Go Viking Mathletes!

(9/24-9/26 ) Class of 2028 your T-shirts are also here! Stop by R13 (Ms. Blythʻs room) to pick up your class T-shirts during morning and lunch recess starting TODAY, September 24 to Friday September 26.
(9/23-9/24) There will be an Environmental Agents of Change Club meeting TODAY September 24, 2025 in Mr. Souza’s room C-123 at lunch. You will be discussing upcoming events such as weekly activity and project ideas.
This Week in the Career and College Counseling Office
US Representative Jill Tokuda is hosting an information session on the different Military Service Academies TONIGHT, September 24th, from 5:30 to 6:45 PM at UH Hilo, in UCB 100. Representatives from West Point, the Air Force Academy, the Naval Academy, and the Merchant Marine Academy will be present. To attend in person, RSVP using the link or QR code on the left. What’s New Vikings?
(9/24-9/25) Filipino Club will be meeting during Lunch, in Mr Caceres’ Room A23, TOMORROW, September 25. See you there!
(9/23-9/26) FCA will be having a meeting TOMORROW, September 25 at the pool. You do not have to be a Christian or an athlete to attend these meetings. Come down and bring a friend to learn about the word of God, eat pizza, and hang out.
(9/22-9/26) Bus Riders, the application window for Qtr. 2 is now open! Please remember to apply as soon as possible! You can either apply online or pick up a paper application from the main office.
(9/22-10/3) Boys Soccer sign-ups are now open! Anyone interested in playing this school year must complete the Google Form to be eligible. Students who do not sign up will not be allowed to try out. The deadline is Monday, October 6th, by 3 PM. The season is expected to begin in mid-October. A completed physical is required, and there will be no preseason conditioning. (8/25-9/22) Have your permit and want to get your license? Sign up for Driver Education classes! Go to the HHS website, click on 'Programs & Activities', select 'Driver Ed', and click on 'click here to sign up for Driver Ed'. Click on 'Student Enrollment Form' for Hilo High School, and fill out the Google form. The next class starts in October. Watch your email, because if you miss the RSVP email, you will need to sign up again!
