Here are the Club Meetings Happening this Week
(10/22-10/23) There will be a PAAC meeting held in BB201, Ms.Nolan's room TOMORROW, October 23rd, at lunch recess where you will be discussing upcoming projects and activities!
(10/22-10/23) Hawaiian Club will be meeting again TOMORROW, October 23, during recess in Kumu Awa's room K-101 to prepare for the homecoming game.
(10/24-10/24) HOSA will be meeting this Friday (10/24) in Mr. Assi's room during lunch. You will be continuing to talk more about competition, so be sure to attend. Also, if you haven't turned in your competition fee and dues yet, be sure to bring that money as well. The competition is $10, and the club dues are $15.
(10/20-10/24) FCA will be meeting TOMORROW, October 23rd at the pool during lunch. The guest speaker on this day will be Pastor Kat Kona nui from New Hope Church. Bring a friend down to enjoy some pizza, hang out, and most importantly, learn about the word of God.
What’s New Vikings
(10/22-10/24) KTA Pharmacy, in partnership with the Hawai‘i Department of Health, is having a Flu Shot clinic at Hilo High on Friday, October 24th, from 8 AM to 12 PM. If you would like to get your flu shot, have your Parents/guardians scan the QR code on the screen and fill out the consent form. Sign up by Thursday Afternoon, October 23. Let’s work together to stop the Flu at School!
(10/21-10/23) This is a reminder that UH Hilo's Upward Bound counselors Nikki and Claire, have regular office hours here at Hilo High! Every Thursday during lunch, Hilo High Upward Bound students can stop in to see them in room N-103 (Mrs. Frias' room). These Thursday lunch office hours can be a great time for you to check in with them, and keep updated on any upcoming events or projects. If you're not yet in Upward Bound, feel free to meet them in N-103 and find out more about how you can join Upward Bound in the future!
(10/20-10/29) Do you want to try out for Girls Soccer? Try-outs will be on October 27, 28, and 29 from 4:00 - 6:00 at the new Hilo High School field.
(10/20-10/23) Leo Club Members, A new project has been posted in Google Classroom. As many members as possible are encouraged to participate, so please complete the Google Form, even if attendance isn’t possible. New projects will be posted soon, so be sure to fill out each form as they become available.
(10/20-10/24) Are you looking for some Halloween fun this October? Well, you're in luck! PALC will be holding their "Haunted Circus" Haunted House from October 24th to the 27th from 6pm to 9PM for $5 at the door. So bring a friend to get scared.

Learn how real courtroom trials work, practice arguing cases, and build skills in teamwork and persuasion. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and voice! Interested? (10/20-10/27) Ho'oulu Academy! Next Monday October 27th, you will be having an Awards Ceremony at the Pool during Stars. DO NOT report to your Stars Class. Head straight to the Pool after first recess. Again, after first recess on October 27th head to the pool for Stars to see if YOU got recognized for your first quarter achievements. SEE YOU THERE!
