Here are the Club Meetings happening Today
(11/5-11/6) KVIKS Media will be having a general meeting TODAY in C-215 during lunch. Make sure to grab a pass if you want lunch and wear your KVIKS Media attire.
(11/5-11/7) Filipino Club is meeting TODAY, November 6th, during lunch in A23 at Mr. Caceres’ room.
(11/4-11/7) FCA will be meeting TODAY November 6th at the pool during lunch. The guest speaker will be Pastor Zeke Tomaselli from Waiakea Uka Bible Church. Bring a friend down to enjoy some pizza, hang out, most importantly, learn about the word of God.
What’s New Vikings
(11/6-11/14) Please be advised that official P.E. uniforms are now available for purchase. You can purchase them online by scanning the QR code. Pre orders will be accepted until Sunday, Nov. 23rd. All orders are final and will be shipped and/or available for pick up at Creative Arts Hawaii after Dec. 29.
(11/6-11/7) Japan Club members! TOMORROW, November 7, there will be a meeting in P3 during lunch to discuss upcoming events and crafts you can sign up for. See you there, mata ne!
(11/6-11/7) HOSA will be meeting TOMORROW, November 7th, in Mr. Assi's room L-2. This meeting is very important as the competition is coming up QUICK and the permission forms and fees are due BY this meeting.
(11/5-11/7) The Hawai'i Nei Art Exhibition begins this Friday, November 7th, at the Wailoa Art Center and runs through December 11th. This year, several Hilo High students had work accepted into the art exhibit. - Congratulations to the following students: Luci Hearn with her piece entitled "Nenue". Emily Panela with her piece entitled "Apapane". Kuulei Alexander with her piece "Ohelo ai", and Mrs. Baum's Plants and Animals of Hawai'i classes group piece entitled "Ko'a". The Hawai'i Nei art exhibit displays both adult and youth artwork featuring Native Species. Check it out before December 11th!
(11/4-11/21) This year, let's show our community spirit by participating in Student Association's Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, starting next week and all the way until the week of Thanksgiving! Canned goods are being collected to support families in need and ensure everyone has a memorable holiday dinner. To donate, simply bring your items to Ms. Switzer in room A-17. Every single donation counts! As a huge thank you for your compassion, all donors will receive a small special treat and, most importantly, the wonderful feeling of doing something truly good for others. Start gathering those cans this weekend

Other Announcements
(10/14-11/10) Boys varsity and junior varsity basketball tryouts will be held on November 10th thru Nov 12th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the new gym. All athletes trying out will need to fill out the required athlete forms found on the Hilo High website under the athletics tab.
In addition, players are also required to sign up for tryouts in Building F, room 85.
