Good Morning Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S News Bulletin for Monday, November 10th, 2025. My name is Tyra. Today's periods are 2, STARS, 4, and 6. As a reminder, there will be no school tomorrow, November 11th, in observance of Veteran’s Day.
Today at Hilo High School
(10/14-11/10) Boys varsity and junior varsity basketball tryouts will begin TODAY November 10th through Nov 12th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the new gym. All athletes trying out will need to fill out the required athlete forms found on the Hilo High website under the athletics tab.
What’s New Vikings
(11/10-11/13) There will be a Racket Club meeting Thursday, November 13, during lunch in Mr. Julian's room, R-22. New members are still welcome. This will be the final day to sign up. Important information about practice startups will be discussed, so be sure to attend!
(11/10-11/19) Interested in playing Boys or Girls Tennis this spring? Please sign up with coach Leanne in F-Bldg to grab an informational sheet for off season practice along with how to create your rank one account which is required for all sports.
(11/6-11/14) Official P.E. uniforms are now available for purchase! You can purchase them online by scanning the QR code. Pre orders will be accepted until Sunday, Nov. 23rd. All orders are final and will be shipped and/or available for pick up at Creative Arts Hawaii after Dec. 29.
(11/4-11/21) This year, let's show our community spirit by participating in Student Association's Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, happening now until the week of Thanksgiving! Canned goods are being collected to support families in need and ensure everyone has a memorable holiday dinner. To donate, bring your items to Ms. Switzer in room A-17. Every single donation counts! As a huge thank you for your compassion, all donors will receive a small special treat and, most importantly, the wonderful feeling of doing something truly good for others.
