(11/21-11/24) Hey Sharks! Donʻt forget, TODAY, November 24, all freshman academy students will be meeting in the auditorium for a special presentation during STARS. Look for your STARS teacher and teacherʻs name tag to be marked present. See you all there!

 

Coming up in the Career and College Counseling Office

 

(11/21-11/25) The United States Navy will be presenting information about the wide variety of opportunities available through their branch of the military.  Petty Officer Rosie Lutunauga will be at Hilo High TOMORROW, November 25th at 8:30am during pd 1.  If you are interested in attending, please see Ms. Lawrence or Mrs. Frias in N-103 to sign up and pick up a pass.  We hope to see you there!

 

What’s New Vikings

 

(11/24-12/5) PALC is excited to announce its winter Shakespeare production, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" This classic comedy follows a group of lovers, fairies, and actors as they tumble into magical chaos in an enchanted forest. It’s funny, fast-paced, and full of mischief. Performances will be held from December 6- 8 and again from the 12-14. Admission is $5 at the door, cash only. Mark your calendars—this is a show you won’t want to miss!

 

(11/24-11/26) Get ready to gobble! Our annual Thanksgiving Pie Eating Contest is happening this week! Make sure to be in front of the auditorium this Wednesday, November 26th, during lunch to watch the showdown or compete yourself! Don't forget the date: Wednesday during lunch. Come Hungry!

(11/4-11/21) Let’s show community spirit by participating in Student Association’s Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, happening now until the end of this week! Canned goods are being collected to support families in need and help ensure a memorable holiday dinner. To donate, bring items to Ms. Switzer in room A-17. Every donation counts! Donors will receive a small treat and the good feeling of helping others.

Celebrate Lā Kūʻokoʻa – Hawaiian Independence Day – by wearing RED on Wednesday November 26th.  And please come to the front of Kumu ʻAwaʻs class near K101 at lunch on Wednesday, Nov 26th to take part in some Hawaiian games for some prizes. Hope to see you represent our Hawaiian Nation with your red on that day!  Mahalo and Aloha!
