(11/26-12/5) JV Softball Tryouts have begun! Tryouts are happening now until December 5th, 2025, from 4-5:30 PM at the Kapiolani Elementary Softball Field. If you have any questions, please contact Head Coach Devin Valentin at (808)-960-2451

 

(12/1-12/4) Winter ball payments continue TODAY, so don’t wait! You can turn in your payment from December 1st to December 5th in F-Building during lunch and tickets are $40, cash only. Please don’t forget to attach your printed student ID to your Winter ball packet. 

 

(12/1-12/2) Konnichiwa Japan Club members! TODAY, December 2nd, you will be having a Japan Club meeting. You will be discussing upcoming events and information about the Japan trip.

 

What’s New Vikings

 

(12/2-12/3) Aloha EAC members! A club meeting will be held this Wednesday in Mr. Souza’s room, C123, to begin work on upcoming projects.

 

(12/2-12/12) The Class of 2028 is having a Holiday Fundraiser! Goodies from Noms Hawaii Candy Factory are available, including chocolate crunch bags, Li Hing Mui–Lemon Peel gummy bags, and Christmas gift boxes. These treats make great snacks and perfect holiday gifts. Tickets are available at B-44. Pick-up will take place at the Vendor Fair on December 13, 2025. Please bring tickets to redeem your tasty snacks. For questions, contact Ms. Sam or Ms. Q. Mahalo for the support!

 

(12/1-12/2) Seniors! This is your final reminder to complete your PTP by this Friday, December 5th.  Please check your school email accounts for an email from Mrs. Frias to know if you are finished or not.  Remember that completion of your PTP can be helpful as you work toward your post-high school plans, and it is also a graduation requirement set by the State of Hawaii.  See Mrs. Frias during lunch if you need help on any of the 13 assignments.

 

(12/1-12/3) Hoʻāla Academy students! The votes have been tallied for your academy colors, and 4 colors have come out on top: Blue, Green, Black, and White.  Your help is needed to choose the right color combination to represent your academy.  Follow the QR code on the screen or go to the link in your Advisory Google Classroom and fill out the survey. 

 

(12/1-12/5) There will be an FCA meeting on Thursday, December 4th at the pool during lunch. The guest speaker on this day will be Pastor Kuhio Thomas from Sure Foundation Puna. Bring a friend down to enjoy some pizza, hang out, most importantly, learn about the word of God. “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭4

 

(11/26-12/4) Aloha Art Club! You will be meeting TOMORROW, December 3rd after school in Ms. Z's room (L-4) to prepare for the upcoming vendor fair.

(11/24-12/5) PALC is excited to announce its winter Shakespeare production, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" This classic comedy follows a group of lovers, fairies, and actors as they tumble into magical chaos in an enchanted forest. It’s funny, fast-paced, and full of mischief. Performances will be held from December 6- 8 and again from the 12-14. Admission is $5 at the door, cash only. Mark your calendars—this is a show you won’t want to miss!

(11/25-12/3) Are you interested in Government and want to represent our school on the state level? The annual Hawaii State Student Council Secondary Student Conference is coming up from February 1st to 3rd. It is a free-to-attend state conference in Oahu, held at the Ala Moana Hotel and the State Capitol. At this conference, you would learn about legislative processes and be given the opportunity to advocate for issues you care about. If you are interested please fill out the google form from the QR code on the screen. If you want more information, you can always go to Ms. Switzer and ask her any questions!
