12/12/2025 KVIKS News Bulletin

[KVIKS NEWS BULLETIN INTRO]

Good Morning Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S News Bulletin for Friday, December 12th, 2025. My name is Rianne. Today's periods are 1, 3, 5, and 7.

First, a bright spot! As you know, our bells are music based. Today, however, we are proud to highlight that we found a Viking to re-record our festive bell for the remainder of the quarter! Check out what the bell will sound like from now, until December 19, 2025.

Here’s What’s New Vikings

(12/10-12/12) This year’s Holiday Vendor Fair is happening TOMORROW, December 13th, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM right here at Hilo High. Come check out local vendors, enjoy performances, and get creative with arts and crafts. Come support the Class of 2029 Sharks, don’t miss it!

(12/12) Ohayo gozaimasu, everyone! Have you tried the Japanese Curry & Rice before? It’s so delicious! The Hilo High Japan Club is selling them at the Hilo High Vendor Fair this Saturday. It will be in the patio from 9:30 am until the food runs out! If you purchased pre-sale tickets from Japan club members, please bring them to get your bowl before noon. We are looking forward to seeing you at the Vendor Fair this Saturday!

(12/10-12/12) Talofa Vikings! Are you interested in trying something new? More May Day dancers are needed for the 2026 May Day program, which will showcase Siva Samoa, the traditional Samoan dance. Sign-ups are available in Ms. Gooch’s room, C-106, through next week Friday, December 19th. There will also be an informational meeting on Wednesday, December 17th, during lunch in C-106 for anyone interested in participating. No experience is needed, and everyone is welcome!

(12/12-12/18) There will be a FCA meeting on Thursday, 12/18 at the pool during lunch. The guest speaker on this day will be Pastor Jamie Dewees from Arise Church. This is the last huddle of 2025! Bring a friend down to enjoy some pizza, hang out, most importantly, learn about the word of God. Thank you to Kris Speegle from All State Insurance Company who sponsored our Pizzas for the day! Scripture of the week is Luke 19:10. “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

(12/11-12/19) Bus Riders, the application window for Qtr. 3 is now open!  Please remember to apply as soon as possible!  You can either apply online or pick up a paper application from the main office.
