Today at Hilo High School
(1/30-2/10) Boy’s Volleyball Tryouts will be TODAY, February 10, from 4pm to 6pm in the new gym. All required forms must be completed and uploaded to Rank One before February 9. Forms are available on the Hilo High Athletics website and the Rank One website, registration is required. If building teamwork and Viking pride sounds like a good fit, come out and give it a shot.
(2/2-2/12) Tennis Tryouts begin TODAY, to Wednesday, February 11. The times are as follows:
February 10: Boys 3–4:30 PM, Girls 4:30–6PM
February 11: Boys AND Girls from 4 to 6 PM
A current physical and all completed Rank One forms are required to participate. For questions, see Coach Leanne in F-Building.

(2/3-2/12) Ho‘oulu Academy students! Want a chance to earn a free ice cake? Five students each week, from now until the end of the school year, will be selected for showing the value of the week. The value for February 2–12 is ALOHA. Show aloha by demonstrating respect, responsibility, empathy, teamwork, patience, caring for the environment, and supporting your peers. Show Aloha in everything you do and be entered to win by your teachers.
(1/27-2/17) Goodwill Hawaii will be offering free Job Readiness Workshops to help refresh existing skills and build a strong foundation for professional growth. These workshops are open to high school students ages 16 and up, as well as community members 18 and older. Sessions will be held February 17th through the 19th, with morning workshops from 9 to 10 am and afternoon workshops from 4 to 5 pm. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up using the QR code on the screen. Attendance will be recorded once registered.
