(3/11-3/13) Are you interested in representing Ho'ala academy at this Friday's LOT? To sign up for Academy Lip-Syncing, Cornhole, Reverse Charades, or Swim Relay Competitions, contact Shehata Sensei at [email protected]! Each Activity must have at least ONE Teacher, VP, or EA participating. Sign up today!
(3/11-3/13) There are still a few openings for the next Driver Education class, starting on March 25th and ending on April 23rd. Please go to the HHS website, search for Driver Education, search for Hilo High School, and fill out the Google form. Mrs. Yamauchi will send out an RSVP email.
(3/12) Congratulations to the following Ho‘oulu Academy students who stepped up and demonstrated the value of Malama from March 2-6th: Rayden Rice, Chloe Yanagisawa, Malu Hamada,
Ma Shella Rosario, and Kiana Julian. These students exemplified Malama by caring for, protecting, and nurturing our people, our spaces, our programs, and our ʻāina. Your tickets for your free Ice Cake will be passed out to you.
Bright Spots
(3/11) Congratulations to all the students who competed in different events during the HOSA State Leadership Competition last week on Oahu, where they all had a great time and made new connections. Special congratulations to Ben Yamaki, Peter Bochkarev, Bryan Assi, Anan Daniels, and Kendall Terao Toma, who all placed top 3 in their respective events and are headed to represent Hilo High School at the HOSA International Leadership Competition in Indianapolis this coming June.
