[KVIKS NEWS BULLETIN INTRO]
Good morning Vikings! This is your K-V-I-K-S News Bulletin for Monday, March 30th, 2026. My name is Caitard. Today's periods are 2, STARS, 4, and 6.
Here’s What’s New Vikings
(3/30-4/8) Hey Cobras, Junior Parent Night will be on April 30th at 5:30pm in the Hilo High cafeteria. Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP using the QR code on the screen. This is the first way to earn a commencement ticket.
(3/30-4/2) It's that time of year again to start planning for the upcoming summer! If you have any classes you need to make up, the Hilo High Summer Program is ready to begin accepting your registration. As usual the Summer Program is FREE to Hilo High students, and is a great way to earn up to 1 credit.
The Summer Program will run from June 2 - July 13. Classes will be held Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 11:30am, with free breakfast and lunch available. On-time attendance is mandatory, so before you sign up, make sure you are able to commit to the entire 6-week session.
Please scan the QR code on the flyer to register for the class you need. Please see Vice Principal Fernandez, or Mrs. Frias if you have any questions. The deadline to register is May 15, or when the courses fill up.
(3/25-4/1) For those who picked up an intent-to-perform packet for May Day, don’t forget to submit it by Wednesday, April 1st to Ms. Whitehall in Room C121. Mahalo

(3/23-3/31) If you are planning to take an online summer school course through Hawaii Online Courses, the registration opens on Tuesday, March 31st at 12:00 pm. Your parents must register you, and courses fill up quickly on a first come-first served basis. Please see your counselor ahead of the March 31st registration date to inform them of the summer course you plan to take. Please remember that these online courses affect your high school transcript and GPA, so before registering for an online course, be sure that you can commit to completing the work and doing your best.
