This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Let’s recognize and thank our teachers who work hard each day to support, guide, and inspire. Their dedication helps make a difference in and out of the classroom. Thank you teachers for all that you do!

(5/1-5/5) Starting TODAY, the Class of 2028 will start selling DIPPIN DOTS ICE CREAM! Come to the front of the Auditorium for a cold, yummy treat. Sales will be held until 1:30 on EVEN days for the month of May. Mahalo!!

Congratulations to Hilo High Junior Sky Bardwell-Jones who won 1st place at the State Debate Tournament! She debated the LD category Novice Lincoln-Douglas on the resolution: The United States military ought to abide by the principle of non-intervention. Congrats to all our Debaters who qualified for and competed at the State Tournament and represented the Viking Spirit!
Here’s What’s New Vikings
Attention Seniors! Chromebook returns begin TOMORROW, May 5th, during recess or lunch in C-117. If you are currently using your chromebook for schoolwork, don't worry! You have until Monday, May 18 to return them. Please return the exact Chromebook that was issued, along with the charger. If both items are not returned, it will become an obligation and may affect your participation in commencement activities. If you have any questions, please see a tech in C-117.
Japan Club is excited to announce their Antics Pizza Pre-Sale Fundraiser, running from May 1 through May 20. A big mahalo goes to Antics Pizza for supporting the Japan Club fundraiser. Tickets are $20 and can be redeemed for a Japanese Flag Pizza (pepperoni pizza), from May 23 through June 19. Please support the Japan Trip members, and mahalo for your support!
(5/1-5/6) The LAST ACE session is Wednesday, May 6th in the cafeteria from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. Bring a student ID, along with your school-issued CHROMEBOOK, schoolwork, or a book to read. Phones must be silenced and kept in bags. No late entry is allowed, so be on time. Let's stay on track and finish the quarter strong!
