Here’s What’s New Vikings
Summer Program Registration
Just a reminder that Summer Program Registration is still going on. If you have any classes you need to make up, the Hilo High Summer Program is ready to begin accepting your registration. As usual, our Summer Program is FREE to Hilo High students, and is a great way to earn up to 1 credit.
Our Summer Program will run from June 2 - July 13. Classes will be held Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 11:30am, with free breakfast and lunch available. On-time attendance is mandatory, so before you sign up, make sure you are able to commit to the entire 6-week session.
Please scan the QR code on the flyer to register for the class you need. Please see Vice Principal Fernandez, or Mrs. Frias if you have any questions. The deadline to register is May 15, or whenever the courses fill up. Thank you!
Lillipops for Sale (5/12 - 5/15)
Speech and Debate will be selling Lillipops, frozen ice pops, for the 1st half hour after school or as long as Mrs. Baum's door is open for the next few weeks. Come to room A12a. They are $3 and come in a variety of local flavors. You can also purchase a gift certificate to give a friend anytime during the day for pick up after school.
Environmental Agents of Change Club
Aloha EAC Members, We will be having a mandatory meeting during recess today, Thursday, 5/14, in Mr. Souza room (C-123). We need to finalize preparations for our project tonight and plan for our final club meeting tomorrow.
Please note: Attendance is required. Any unexcused absence will result in you being unable to participate in tonight’s event or our final meeting. Please check our Google Classroom regularly for further updates.

Yearbook
Yearbook distribution continues Today, Thursday, May 14th, for 9th and 10th graders, with Friday, May 15th. available for everyone to come.
If you purchased a yearbook, be sure to pick it up at Mrs. Blair’s room, L-5, during lunch.
Please bring a valid ID and/or yearbook receipt for pickup.
Chromebook Returns
Seniors, during Recess and Lunch, please return the Chromebook assigned to you, along with the charger. If both items are not returned, it will become an obligation and may affect your participation in commencement activities. If you have any questions, please see the techs in C-117.
Congratulations Boys & Girls Tennis! (5/12 - 5/15)
Boys & Girls Tennis participated in the HHSAA State Tennis Tournament May 7-9 and represented Hilo High with Viking Pride. They all played hard and gave it their all! Bryan Assi finished 2nd in singles and the boys team finished the team standing in 3rd. Participants were Bryan Assi, Raiden Santos- Abalos, Kaiden Alip, Anwar Genz, Loic Chene Laurin, Emily Assi, Rioru Furuhata, Hina Nanamura, Katie Dodo, and Ava Yamanaka.
