The 26-27 SY First Quarter Bus Application window opened on Monday, July 13th, and will run throuh August 7th.
If your student intends on riding the school bus, we strongly advise that you apply as soon as possible. There will be no grace period. Applications may be submitted online at hi.etrition.com/
For ALL riders, Student Transportation Services and Hilo High School request that families read and familiarize themselves with the HIDOE Transportation Passenger Safety Code. To ensure safe and continued bus service, it is important that families understand and agree to following bus safety protocols and proper ridership behavior. Please find attached to this email a letter from our principal, Adrian De Mello, and an agreement form that can be printed, signed, and submitted to the main office. Hardcopies will also be available at the office.
For families who wish to apply for FREE bus service, Student Transportation Services now requires a signed Sharing Information form to be submitted with all initial applications. This form allows the school to disclose to Transportation Services whether or not your student qualifies for free bus service. The Sharing Information form will be a part of the online application and we have attached a copy to this email for your reference. Failure to submit this form will default your student to Paid status.
