Ho’ala Ambassador Meeting
There will be a Ho’ala Ambassador meeting during lunch TODAY, in Mr. Nakasato's classroom, A-17. All ambassadors are asked to attend as the group will be going over plans for the upcoming school year.
HOSA Meeting
Attention HOSA members! There will be a meeting TODAY, during lunch in Mr. Assi’s Room, L-2 to discuss upcoming events.
Art Club Meeting
Art Club’s first meeting is TODAY, after school from 1:30 to 2:30 PM in Ms. Z's room, L-4. New members are welcome to attend!

Class of 2030 Elections
Class of 2030! Interested in joining the class council? Stop by B-33 this week to pick up a form. Forms are due by Monday, August 10th.
College and Career Guest Speaker
Interested in aviation, engineering, or aerospace? Join in BB-102 during Periods 3 or 5 on Tuesday, August 11th for a special guest presentation! Bransen Hata-ken-aka (a former Hilo High student now studying Aeronautics at the University of Southern California), will be here to speak with students about his college journey, what it’s like studying aeronautical engineering, and tips for applying to top university programs. Don't miss out! See Mrs. Blair in BB-102 for a pass and if you have any questions. Seats are limited.
In Case You Missed it Vikings
Chromebook Pickup and Replacement
Please go to the LRC this week during Recess, Lunch and Afterschool to pick up or replace your Chromebook. Students are highly expected to bring their designated school computer with them to class. There is a limited supply of Chromebooks per class. The computer you were issued is not to be kept at home, it should be used on campus as part of your learning.
Replacement IDs and Fingerprint Scanning
To check out for lunch, simply present your ID or scan your fingerprint. If you don’t have your ID, or if your fingerprint is not yet enrolled, please go to the LRC during recess, lunch and afterschool. As a reminder, students are still able to pick up a meal if they do not have an ID card or registered barcode. An issue with the barcodes during lunch service has been fixed.

Aloha Viks! Are you hungry after school? The Pacific & Asian Affairs Council, also known as the PAAC Club, will be selling cup noodles after school every Tuesday and Thursday in Shehata Senseiʻs room in P-3 from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm. This fundraiser will support our trip to the Jeju International Youth Forum in South Korea in October! Thank you!
