Swim Team Meeting (9/25-9/29)
Interested in joining the Hilo High School Swim Team for the 2026–27 season? There will be a brief meeting and sign-up TODAY, September 29, at the beginning of lunch, 12:30pm at the Pool Bleachers. All interested students are encouraged to attend.
Military and Commercial Pilot Career Talk (9/24-9/28)
Ever wondered what it takes to become a military or commercial pilot? There will be a career talk TODAY, during Period 7 with Hayden Stevens—a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, former U.S. Marine Corps Major and pilot, and current commercial pilot for Hawaiian Airlines. Pick up a pass in Room BB-102 ahead of time to reserve a spot!

KTA Pharmacy is offering flu vaccinations at Hilo High School on Monday, October 26, 2026. Do you wanna build cool things, solve mysteries, and explore the universe? Then it is time to join the brand-new Science Olympiad High School Club!
Science Olympiad is a team competition that dives into topics including Meteorology, Anatomy and Physiology, Roller Coaster, Botany, and so much more. Whether you are an aspiring doctor, an engineer, a nature lover, or just curious about how the world works, there is a place for you on this team.
We will be having informational meetings on Wednesday, September 30th, and Friday, October 2nd at 2:30. Both meetings will take place across the street at Hilo Intermediate School in Mrs. Fong’s room.

Hey Vikings! The Hilo High LEO Club will be hosting a school-wide canned food drive from Wednesday, September 16, til Wednesday, September 30. All donations can be dropped off at either Ms. T's classroom in C-217A or Ms. Farmer's classroom in R-12. All food donated will be donated to the Food Bank of Hawaii or the Hawaii Food Basket. Come and show your support. Thank you!

Girl’s Basketball Conditioning (9/14-10/30)
Any girls that are interested in playing basketball this upcoming season, conditioning is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:15pm to 7:50pm. And Weightlifting is Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 7pm. For any questions you can contact coach fred collins with the number on the screen.
Boys Soccer Sign Ups (9/21-10/12)
Attention all students interested in playing Boys Soccer this school year! Sign-ups are open, and you must sign up using the QR code on the screen in order to participate. Make sure to use your legal first and last name, and ensure you have a completed physical and all required forms uploaded into Rank One. Sign-ups will close on Monday, October 12th, at 3 PM. [VIDEO] PAAC Ramen Fundraiser
Aloha Viks! Are you hungry after school? The Pacific & Asian Affairs Council, also known as the PAAC Club, will be selling cup noodles after school every Tuesday and Thursday in Shehata Senseiʻs room in P-3 from 2:15 pm to 2:45 pm. This fundraiser will support our trip to the Jeju International Youth Forum in South Korea in October! Thank you!
