Today at Hilo High School
October 2nd is National Custodian Day. From doing deep cleans of our classrooms during summer, to maintaining our buildings and campus, we want to thank our hardworking custodians for all that they do. As the Hilo High Community, we can show our appreciation by doing small things like picking up litter, or other small gestures of appreciation, a simple thank you can go a long way. Thank you! [feel free to shoutout any custodian you know]
Class of 2029 Shirt Distribution (10/2)

Baseball Conditioning (10/2-10/30)
The baseball team will begin conditioning on Monday, October 5, at Wong Stadium. Practice will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30–5:30 p.m. until the JV Baseball season begins.
Students interested in joining should complete all athletic paperwork in Rank One before participating. If you have questions, please contact the Athletic Department at [email protected] or Coach Baba at 808-642-3870.
Leo Club Project (10/2)
Attention all LEO Club Members! A new project was just posted in Google Classroom. Please fill out the google form, even if you can NOT attend the project. This is the last project for the quarter. Ms. Tanaka will contact each member who signs up to attend.

Girl’s Basketball Conditioning (9/14-10/30)
Girls basketball conditioning is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:15 PM to 7:50 PM. Weightlifting is Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Contact Coach Fred Collins with any questions using the phone number on the screen.

In honor of celebrating 120 years as Hilo High Vikings, this year's theme is "Level 120: The Life of a Viking." Each class council selected a video game to represent their class:

[VIDEO] Science Olympiad
Do you wanna build cool things, solve mysteries, and explore the universe? Then it is time to join the brand-new Science Olympiad High School Club!
Science Olympiad is a team competition that dives into topics including Meteorology, Anatomy and Physiology, Roller Coaster, Botany, and so much more. Whether you are an aspiring doctor, an engineer, a nature lover, or just curious about how the world works, there is a place for you on this team.
We will be having informational meetings on Wednesday, September 30th, and Friday, October 2nd at 2:30. Both meetings will take place across the street at Hilo Intermediate School in Mrs. Fong’s room.
