Make-up Picture Day
Aloha Vikings! Were you absent picture day? Please make plans to take your picture Monday, September 17th during period 2. You must get a hall pass from your period 2 teacher, so make arrangements now!

Buy a yearbook!
Aloha vikings! Our yearbook crew is going to sell yearbooks Friday the 14th in L-5. Please bring $50 cash or check payable to Hilo High School. Pre-order sales will get their yearbook first, according to class. Seniors first. Yearbook memories last forever!

Senior Baby Pictures
You were so cute when you were a baby, let's show everyone how cute by submitting your baby pictures to our yearbook staff at [email protected] in a JPEG format by October 3. Awww, so cute!

Senior Ads
Calling all seniors and their families! Your folks are so proud, let them show it by buying a space just for you in our yearbook! Family congrats or Then and Now friends can be purchased on September 14, Friday in L-5, or from the office through Mrs. Allison Hoota. Photos and text to [email protected] in JPEG format. Due by Oct. 3rd.


Meeting for the Spring Break England Trip
Students who are traveling to England and France over Spring break please attend an informational meeting in Mrs. Pratt's room R11 on Wednesday September 19 at lunch. If you want to join the trip there is still limited space so come and get information during the meeting!

Attention all National Honor Society Members
Our next meeting of the school year will be on Tuesday, Sept 18 during 1st recess at the Pool. We may be taking our Club Yearbook picture at that meeting so please be prompt.

Washington D.C. trip
Hey vikings, Have you ever wanted to travel to our Nations capital - Washington D.C.? Next summer for 6 days in June 2019, this exciting opportunity will become a real experience for any Hilo High School student. Come join the Close Up Program. A dynamic hands on civics education program for students to meet peers from all around the country, explore historic sites, meet with your legislators, attend and observe Congressional Committee Hearings, and many more fun filled activities. There will be a farewell banquet, to enjoy and socialize with your new friends as you dance the night away.

Join our Anime Club!
Hey Vikings! Are you interested in Anime? Come on up to L-3 to join the Anime Club! Meetings are on Monday and Wednesday lunch times. We will discuss techniques, cosplay, art, and story creation. All are welcome!

The US Coast Guard did an awesome presentation last year here with us and they will be here again on Monday, September 17 at 8:15 am during Pd. 2! Please sign up in Room A-1 to attend! Let's have a great turn out as we did last year!

U.S. NAVY VISIT!
Petty Officer Holley will be doing a presentation here with us on Friday, September 21 at 9:55 am during Pd. 3. Please come to Rm. A-1 to sign up!
