Registration for Next School Year
All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders - please remember that your complete, signed registration forms are due to your STARS teachers on Monday, December 10th. Please see your counselors if you have any questions before December 10th. If you fail to turn in your registration form, we will create a schedule for you and changes cannot be made. Turn in your forms!

Winter Complex Concert
Hey Vikings! Support the Hilo High School Viking Band and Orchestra at the 2018 Winter Complex Concert! It will be on December 12th starting at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium, and admission is free! We hope to see you all there, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Junior School Kine Cookies
Juniors, your cookies are here! If you purchased School Kine Cookies your order is available for pick up at A12-B, starting Wednesday December 5th during recess or lunch. Thank you for your continued support!!

Class T-shirt Pick up
Great News Freshmen! Our class shirts are in. If you pre-ordered at shirt, come to C-209 on Monday, December 10, 2018 and Tuesday December 11, 2018 during first recess or lunch to pick them up. Please bring your receipt. There are a few extra shirts that we will be selling. First come first served.

Pacific University Visitation
Gary Pacarro of Pacific University will be here doing a presentation on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:15 pm during Period 7. Students in Grades 11 & 12 come on down to A-1 to sign up and get a pass if interested in this University located in Forest Grove, Oregon.

U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps Speaker Session
Greetings Vikings! Did you know that the United States of America has 7 Federal Uniformed Services? We all know about the five armed forces: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force & Coast Guard - but there are two more. On Friday, December 14, Lt. Commander Liza Soza will be doing a presentation in A-1 during Period 2 on her position within the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. She will also be bringing Author/Motivational Speaker Colonel Thomas Hundley of the United States Army to inspire and motivate you all. Come see Ms. Lawrence in Rm. A-1 to sign up for this first time U.S. Public Health Service Presentation. We hope to see you there!

"Seniors! More scholarship information is coming in every week. Please come to A-1 to get specific application information. Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships - hundreds of local scholarships are housed through a single online application. The application is now open and is due by January 31st. Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union Scholarship - Online application opened on December 1st. Apply now to earn one of eight $2,500 scholarships available. This application is due by March 1, 2019 Please see Mrs. Frias in A-1 or the Scholarship Link on Hilo High School's webpage for this information as well."
