Show Your Report Card for HERO Points.
Good Morning Vikings! Want to earn HERO points? Bring your report card to B34 during recess and lunch on Monday (January 14.) You will earn 10 HERO points just by showing your report card. Then you can earn 10 MORE points if you earned no Ds or Fs. Lastly, you can earn 10 more points if you earned All As.

Seniors- Finish Your PTP’s!
This message is for any Senior who has not yet completed their PTP. You and your parents should have received an email on December 23 if you are still not done. As we reminded you last semester, all Seniors who are not yet done will be pulled out of Song Practice beginning on Monday, January 14th to work on the PTP. You will continue to miss Song Practices every Monday until your PTP is complete. Missing Song Practice means you will not be earning Commencement Tickets. Please use your time to complete your PTP NOW! See your counselor or Mrs. Frias in A-1 if you have any questions about your PTP status.

Junior Prom Class of 2020
"Hey class of 2020! This year junior prom will be held on Sunday, March 17 at the Hilo Yacht Club. This year's theme is Paris by Moonlight. Packet pick-up will be from Monday, January 14 to Thursday, January 17 during recess and lunch at room A12B. Packet and payment drop-off will be 2 weeks later from Monday, January 28 to Friday, Feb. 1. Bid pick-up and seat selection will be Monday, February 11 to Friday, February 15. If you are interested, stop by A12B to pick up a packet! Mahalo!"

5th Annual All You Can Eat Hot Dog Jam
Join the Hilo High School Viking Band at the 5th Annual All You Can Eat Hot Dog Jam, on February 16th at Waiakea High School Gym. It will be from 10am-3pm and include entertainment from 4 school bands as well as other local vendors. See any band member or Mrs. Yokoe to purchase a ticket for $7.00. Thank you for supporting the Hilo Viking Band!

PALC Registration
Would you like to explore the magic of theatre? Join PALC, The Performing Arts Learning Center! You can earn a half credit this semester by participating in the show, The Addams Family. Not an actor, you say? No worries, you can learn about stagecraft by working backstage. We need actors, dancers, and stage hands. Everyone is welcome! May Day Royal Court Application Pick Up
Aloha-Would you like to be a representative on this yearʻs Royal May Day Court? If so, please go to C107 or K101 to pick up a May Day Application. Applications are available from Tuesday, Jan 8th to Thursday, Jan 17th. Applications will be due on Feb 1st. Mahalo nui loa

VOLUNTARY JUDO CONDITIONING AND MAT PRACTICE
There will be a voluntary Judo conditioning and mat practice starting on January 14, 2019 at the old gym. From 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. You must have a current physical and signed parental consent form on file to participate. Please bring the following: running shoes, workout clothes, towel and water.

Boy’s and Girl’s Tennis
To all boys and girls trying out for tennis, please get your physicals done before try-outs if you haven't done one this school year. Forms can be picked up at the front office or athletic office and turned in to coach Leanne in F-Bldg when done. Try-outs begin Monday, Feb. 11. No physical, No can try-out!
