HERO Lounge is OPEN!
"Hey Vikings! The HERO Lounge is NOW open! The lounge will be open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during recess and lunch recess. It only costs 5 HERO points to enter. Come visit the lounge this week (2/4, 2/6, 2/8), when it is open, and you can earn 10 points. Where is the lounge? B35 Who is it for? ALL students. What is the lounge? A place where students can relax, study or have fun with friends. There are couches, tvs, xbox 360, outlets to charge your electronics, and AC. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a friend's birthday or hold a celebration, you can reserve the lounge for 25 points. Also, keep a lookout for special events happening at the lounge."
Hawaii Community College Field Trip
Attention, Vikings! Are you interested in a trade or technical career in the future? Want to start your college journey at a cheaper cost? Come to A-1 to pick up a field trip form to learn more about Hawaii Community College. We will be visiting them on Thursday, February 14th, leaving school at 8:45am and returning to school at 11:15am. Forms are due back with signatures by February 8th. Hope you can join us!
Foodland Shop for Higher Education Program
It's that time again. The Foodland Shop for Higher Education Scholarship program is back. Please help our school earn scholarships and grad night funds by having your family and friends shop at any Foodland or Sac n' Save stores and designate Hilo High School (school code # 7525) to receive Maikai points from their purchase. The more Maikai points a school earns, the more scholarships and grad night funds a school can earn for their students. The program runs from February 6 to March 19, 2019. Thank you very much for your continued support for Hilo High School.

Math League Meeting

HHS JUDO SIGN UP
"Anyone still interested in joining the Boys & Girls Judo team? Come see Coach Kerwyn to sign up at the old gym. Practices are currently held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM. A current physical and parental consent form is needed to participate. Last day to sign up is February 8, 2019. Wrestlers who intend to join judo, please report on February 25, 2019."
HHS VARSITY BASEBALL TRYOUTS
Varsity Baseball tryouts will begin on February 4, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Wong Stadium. All Interested athletes must have a current physical on file to participate. Pre-season conditioning for those currently NOT in any winter sport will begin on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Wong Stadium. You must have a current physical on file to participate in pre-season conditioning.
HHS TRACK & FIELD TRYOUT
Track & Field tryouts will begin on February 4, 2019 at 3:30 PM. Meet at the pool bleachers. A current physical and consent form must be on file to tryout. You must attend even if you do not have your physical completed. If you are currently in a winter sport, report to practice as soon as your season has ended. Be prepared to practice on the first day.
HHS BOYS & GIRLS GOLF TRYOUTS
Boys & Girls tryouts will be held on February 4 - 9, 2019 at Hilo Muni from 3:30PM. You must have a current physical on file to participate. You must have your own gold clubs, ball and shoes. There is a fee for the Hilo Muni, please call Coach Randy at 934-0049 for more information.
