Hey Vikings! The HERO Lounge is NOW open!
The lounge will be open every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
during recess and lunch recess.
It only costs 5 HERO points to enter.
Come visit the lounge this week
when it is open, and you can earn 10 points.
Where is the lounge? B35.
Who is it for? ALL students.
What is the lounge? A place where students can
relax, study or have fun with friends.
There are couches, tvs, xbox 360,
outlets to charge your electronics, and AC.
If you are looking for a place to
celebrate a friend's birthday or
hold a celebration, you can reserve the
lounge for 25 points. Also, keep a lookout
for special events happening at the lounge.
Foodland Shop for Higher Education Program
It's that time again.
The Foodland Shop for Higher
Education Scholarship program is back.
Please help our school earn
scholarships and grad night funds
by having your family and friends shop
at any Foodland or Sac n' Save stores
and designate Hilo High School
(school code # 7525) to receive
Maikai points from their purchase.
The more Maikai points a school earns,
the more scholarships and grad night
funds a school can earn for their students.
The program runs from February 6
to March 19, 2019.

Multicultural Club Valentine's Day Fundraiser
Wondering what to get your special someone, teacher,
auntie, uncle, mom, dad, grandma, grandpa,
or maybe yourself for Valentine's Day?

The Multicultural Club will be selling Valentine's Day
goodie bags and ice cream
everyday after school until February 14th!
You will have a choice of $1,
$2.50 or $5 goodie bags.
The ice cream will be $1.50 with
1 choice of topping.

Admissions Day on March 13th.

PAID Summer Internship Opportunity!
Aloha, Vikings!
The Forest Solutions agency is offering a full-time,
PAID Internship for high school and
college students this summer.
It is an 8-week vegetation monitoring
program on the island of Hawaii.
If you enjoy working outdoors, hiking,
and have an interest in the areas
of Natural Resources or Conservation,
you could get PAID FOR CAMPING this summer!

BIIF Wrestling Championships
Come out and support our Viking Wrestling Team
this Saturday February 8th at Keaau HS for
the BIIF Wrestling Championships.
Wrestling begins at 10am and continues
throughout the day,
finals anticipated to begin at 4pm.
