During this time, 9th graders that need help with last-minute homework questions, test prep, essay readings, and study tips will have access to free tutors that can help them prepare for their final week of school.

Corner decorating is a tradition here at Hilo High and we would like to continue this tradition virtually. This year's theme is Holidays at Home. Beginning October 14, 2020, parents/guardians can log into the Infinite Campus Portal and complete the Impact Aid survey. Please note that Hilo High School is participating in this online pilot project but other schools may not be. Parents/guardians who have children at different schools who are not conducting the Federal Impact Aid survey online must complete paper surveys that are sent home via other schools. Federal funding is allocated on a per student basis.
Tentative dates: Mandatory Parent & Student Meeting: January 21, 2021, classes: January 25, 2021 - February 18, 2021, BTW: TBD. By completing this form, you will be placed on a waitlist for upcoming Driver Education classes at Hilo High School. Classes are currently being held virtually with a maximum number of participants of 14. In-person classes may resume once students are back on campus. Computer and WiFi connectivity are necessary, as well as a working camera and microphone.

Did you know that Hilo High School has a nurse in the health room to work with the School Health Assistant (SHA) in supporting your child’s health and education? Hilo High School is staffed with a Hawai‘i Keiki registered nurse (RN). When your child is sick at school, this nurse can assess your child and decide if your child needs to go home, see a medical provider, or can stay at school.
