2020 Virtual May Day Hōʻike ft. Local Hawai'i Music Artists

Aloha! Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the traditional 2020 May Day Hōʻike was cancelled for Hilo High School. However.. Hilo High School students still wanted to create a special show including flashbacks and commentary to previous May Day performances, and also include a special rendition of Oiwi E.

 

Thanks to the efforts of our Viking community, we were also able to get in contact with local music artists and they kindly recorded and sent it special performances just for us! Thank you so much to these performers! Once the hōʻike is done, we will be releasing the names of the artists that submitted performances.
