Meals are served at the cafeteria before school and during recess and lunch.
Breakfast is served at the following times:
Daily from 7:15 AM to 8:00 AM
Monday from 9:25 AM to 9:40 AM
Tuesday/Thursday/Odd Schedule Fridays: 9:30 AM to 9:50 AM
Wednesday/Even Schedule Fridays: 9:35 AM to 9:50 AM
Lunch is served at the following times:
Monday from 11:20 AM to 11:50 AM
Tuesday/Thursday/Odd Schedule Fridays: 12:25 PM to 12:55 PM
Wednesday/Even Schedule Fridays: 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM
Hilo High School utilizes the an online system to track cafeteria meal sales on campus.
Similar to a bank account, students will deposit monies into their lunch accounts and funds will be debited when meals are purchased.
All students will be provided an identification card that will also be used as their meal cards.
Students may make deposits to their accounts at the School Office.

Cashiers will verbally notify students when their balances are reaching lower levels at the service lines.
All students must have their School ID cards or legible clean copy of School ID card, Hilo High School Digital App version of meal barcode, other government issued photo ID, or allow biometric scan for purchasing meals.
Students who attempt to use another student’s ID card to purchase meals would be subject to disciplinary action.
