(02Oct2023) The Academy of Business and Natural Resources (BNR) celebrated the end of the first quarter by holding a random drawing competition of all academy students that had perfect attendance (no absences and no tardies). The lucky winners of a $10 gift card (provided by BNR teachers) were: Aizen Clyde Mangoba, Mitchell Tulang, Isaiah Ishigo, N.G., and Jaysen Gealon-Lehano.
(18Dec2023) Second quarter $10 gift card winners were: Caitlyn Inada, Ayden Castillo, Mitchell Tulang (again!), Quincy Uglum, and Urumi Furuta.

(Dec 13, 2023) The Academy of Business and Natural Resources (BNR) students wrote holiday letters to the patients and residents of the Hilo Veterans Affairs (VA) Clinic. The letters were hand written and decorated by our students to convey our respect and gratitude for the services rendered by the Veterans. It was our hope that the letters brought a little holiday cheer to their recipients. We intend to continue this tradition in the years to come since the letters were well received.
