Three students share why they choose to wrestle and how they overcame weaknesses and aspired to become leaders.

I understand the worry and I'm a senior and I wrestle for Hilo hi I choose to the wrestling because I love the sport before each match you get butterflies and then after you get a feeling of relief drop off I'm a senior and I'm a heel wrestler so I told resting because I like the feeling of competition and being able to push yourself when you want to give up and I'm out here alive wrestler interested in different sports team because like I feel like it's a more displaying area and leg with other sports they do preach about being a student before and after with wrestling it really does like demonstrate it or as I can say I really do like practice what they preach if you love if you love to do as a sport class and do the work for it just the amount of effort that you put in your sport you put it in class as well as a student verse as a freshman in conditioning arresting on I wanted to give up because it was just too much for me and I couldn't handle physically they like to just do like for losing weight I think it's his strength is at your ages mentally how to strengthen your mind and physically it would hurt a lot and you have to do a lot to get that body into your at your top the matter like what you have to do no matter how ugly you look like I just started not giving up and I was pushing myself wrestling has helped me because it taught me to be humble and also the sport itself and the coaches it allowed me to grow as a person and become a better version of myself cuz you have to be mentally strong in order to put yourself pass everything because because it's such a tough sport you have to be prepared for anything and you have to put yourself in uncomfortable situations because of intensity just as much as you wrestle as an individual on top the mat in a turn the matter way you're at practice with your teammates and is more of a team sport to me because I am at your morsel practicing with your team is rather than just yourself and to me I think that like matters the most because a lot of people see it as just a individual Sport and just like slamming people around and stuff but I feel like it's way more than that when I step onto the mat and when we shake hands that's kind of went all feelings disappear and then I'm like in the zone to wrestle has been a great opportunity for me to develop my skills not only resting but being a leader to motivate myself to be better than I was unable to pick up each other pick up the the ones that are are falling behind and to just encourage them what's wrestling because it's honestly super fun whatever you do just don't give up I was your best. You to try something new and just but just remember that you're always a student before an athlete just try something new experiences
