COVID-19

Our administration diligently tracks every reported case and immediately notifies close contacts, cleans impacted areas as recommended, and shares the case information with the Hawaii State Department of Health. If you are not contacted by our administrative team, you or your child are not considered close contacts.

As a tight-knit school community, I understand how challenging it is to remain physically distant from each other, especially during casual social gathering opportunities on campus. However, it takes a collective effort to ensure that we are doing our part to stop the spread of this virus. Please avoid unnecessary gatherings on campus, wear a mask, practice proper hand hygiene and get vaccinated. Vaccination is the leading public health prevention strategy to stop the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.

In addition to reminding our school community about safety procedures, please continue to do a wellness check before coming to campus using the following guidance, bit.ly/WellnessCheckHIDOE. It is crucial that you remain at home if you are feeling sick or have been directed to quarantine. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider or DOH using these options, health.hawaii.gov/docd/contact-us.

Your health and safety continues to be our highest priority. The school has followed all expert guidance and we are confident that it is safe for students and employees. We ask for your vigilance at home to ensure it remains so. Mahalo for your kokua and understanding.
