Mindful Monday | 2020 Wellness Week

To start off our wellbeing week, we have Miss Darcy demonstrating a yoga exercise to get you through the week. If you've never tried yoga, now is the time to practice with friends and family! Yoga works out every muscle in the body, boosts your immune system, and help you get a better nights sleep. What a perfect way to end the day!

Take the Federal Impact Aid Survey Online

Beginning October 14, 2020, parents/guardians can log into the Infinite Campus Portal and complete the Impact Aid survey.  Please note that Hilo High School is participating in this online pilot project but other schools may not be.  Parents/guardians who have children at different schools who are not conducting the Federal Impact Aid survey online must complete paper surveys that are sent home via other schools.  Federal funding is allocated on a per student basis.

Congratulations to John Marrack and Shwe Win for being selected as Semi-Finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Also, congratulations to Shwe Win, for being awarded the Harvard Book Award earlier this year. #hhsvikingpride

Holidays at Home Decoration Contest

Corner decorating is a tradition here at Hilo High and we would like to continue this tradition virtually. This year's theme is Holidays at Home. Participants should decorate their “corners” (homes) in a way that evokes comfort and shows the coziness of the holidays from the comfort of their own home. Virtual Drivers Ed Program Sign Up (January - February, 2021)

Tentative dates: Mandatory Parent & Student Meeting: January 21, 2021, classes: January 25, 2021 - February 18, 2021, BTW: TBD. By completing this form, you will be placed on a waitlist for upcoming Driver Education classes at Hilo High School. Classes are currently being held virtually with a maximum number of participants of 14. In-person classes may resume once students are back on campus. Computer and WiFi connectivity are necessary, as well as a working camera and microphone.
